REFLECTIVE THOUGHTS - SNAKE BITE

Reflecting back onto my Snake bite moulds, i was disappointed with the out come of the positive mould it did break away when i removed it from the mould and i did have to cut away selections of the mould, once i added paint work it become more realistic but after reviewing back to my photos once the day had gone, i noticed flaws which i didn't want. Considering this was my first wound i was happy that had finished it completely and made it to the end.

Things i have learnt during this part of the unit;

  • The unit is very on demand, you have to be quick and effective.
  • It's not for everyone, some people struggle, me being one but some people don't.
  • If you work at your on pace you will succeed. Just take a break every so often.
  • You need a lot of space to work, i found i felt claustrophobic throughout the session and would much rather work on my own.
  • You have to be full prepared if you are making a mould and for it to turn out correct.
  • Follow health and safety rules!  This is compulsory to prevent contamination
