Anatomy is the structure of a living object or the internal workings of something.Anatomy can be separated into 3 sections human anatomy, zootomy (animal anatomy), and phytotomy (plant anatomy).
For my research i will be focusing on the human anatomy because my design will be a bite on a human.Human anatomy, including histology and gross human anatomy, is the study of the structures of the human body. Gross human anatomy, is body parts which is visible to the naked eye, such as the heart or bones.

The next source i found was a video of someone who had experience a snake bite and how quickly his body reacted to the venous. This conveyed the way i would preform the bite and the placing of the bite.

Muscles of the body.
Muscles are either cardiac, striated or non-striated:
Striated muscles are muscles which are attached to the bones and allow us the freedom of voluntarily movement i.e. we are in control of it. So when we frown, smile and gurn generally, we control that movement using our muscles. These are the muscles we work with.
Cardiac muscle is in the heart
Non-striated muscles (also known as smooth muscles) are generally involuntary and work automatically.

Why anatomy is important for a make up artist?
Shaping of the face is created by the underlying bone and muscle structure, for a make up artist this should be a important understanding for facial anatomy and proportions to be able to enhance a persons face structure or to create the make up and character they require. Perhaps a actor or stunt double needs to look like someone else, a make up artists need to understand the facial anatomy and proportions to be able to achieve this. A prosthetic artist needs solid knowledge of anatomy and how the body is proportioned. Hairdressers knowing the bones of the cranium is important for sectioning and cutting lines, as wll as understand facial proportions for styling.
For a make up artist who is performing a contour technique they will need to know what colour to shade into to be able to change their models facial shape.
Why would this help me with the process of making my snake bite?
While being told to analyse the anatomy of the area i will be placing the snake bite i first needed to know what anatomy was and how it effects me being a make up artists. This research will help me design the structure and placing of where i will place the wound on my models body. Understand anatomy was more difficult for me while reading description while photos were more complex for me to understand.
